When new information surfaces that the true killer of Peter Parker's Uncle Ben is not who he thought is was, and has recently escaped the authorities, Peter ( Spiderman) is overwhelmed with feelings of anger and a desire for revenge. At the same time a strange black entity from another world bonds with him and envelops his body, creating what seems to be a black version of his costume. The creature however, is actually a symbiotic life form, feeding off of him while in return fueling him with power...intoxicating power. Leading Peter on a dark path full of inner turmoil and temptations that could cost him not only his humanity but also everything he holds dear. It is up to Spiderman to either face the darkness....or be consumed by it.
